An encounter took place between the Delhi Police and two criminals on the Jaitpur-Kalindi Kunj Road on Thursday morning, resulting in the successful apprehension of both suspects by the Special Cell.
The two individuals are reported to be shooters for the notorious Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar gang. Both were injured by police gunfire during the exchange and have been hospitalised for treatment.
According to the latest information, the apprehended men have been identified as Rahul, a resident of Panipat, Haryana, and Sahil, a resident of Bhiwani. Weapons and a motorcycle were recovered from their possession at the scene.
Police officials stated that Rahul was a previously unidentified and absconding suspect in a triple murder case that occurred in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, in December 2024.
For the past few days, the duo had allegedly been operating on the instructions of foreign-based gangsters Rohit Godara, Goldy Brar, and Virender Charan. Their mission was reportedly to assassinate a social media influencer, for which they had already conducted reconnaissance (reki) of their target in Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Further legal action is now being taken in the matter.
