Delhi Crime News: Three Murders On New Year’s Night In Mangolpuri, Sultanpuri And Adarsh Nagar

Despite heightened vigilance by the Delhi Police for New Year celebrations, the capital witnessed a spate of violence as criminals openly challenged law and order. Three separate stabbing incidents resulting in fatalities were reported across different locations on the first night of the year.

Mangolpuri Incident

Personal Enmity Suspected In C-Block, Mangolpuri, an e-rickshaw driver identified as Vikas was stabbed to death by a group of three to four individuals. His friend, Sandeep, also sustained injuries during the assault. Police investigations revealed that Vikas was previously an accused in an attempted murder case. Authorities are treating the incident as a fallout of personal enmity and have identified two of the assailants involved.

Teenager Killed In Sultanpuri

In a separate incident in C-Block, Sultanpuri, a 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death. Reports indicate that the minor’s mother was injured while attempting to intervene and save her son from the attackers. The motive behind this murder has not yet been established.

Man Stabbed in Adarsh Nagar

A few hours prior to these two incidents, a third murder occurred in the Adarsh Nagar police station area. A 50-year-old man was stabbed to death by several people late at night.
