Chief Minister Rekha Gupta emphasised accelerating development in villages across 30 assembly constituencies and 4 parliamentary constituencies. She highlighted the importance of balanced urban and rural development and assured that budget allocations for village development will not be lacking.
Officials were instructed to prepare detailed lists of projects by assembly constituency for approval and implementation, with board members assigned to oversee different Lok Sabha constituencies to ensure transparency.
The meeting was attended by Development Minister Kapil Mishra, Board Chairman Rajkumar Chauhan, Vice-Chairman Gajendra Singh Daral, board members, and officials from concerned departments.
The projects also include the construction and repair of roads, development of ponds and water bodies, village chaupals, community halls, parks, gymnasiums, libraries, streetlights, and drainage systems, along with the provision of drinking water facilities.
This initiative aims to significantly enhance the quality of life in Delhi’s villages and accelerate rural development under the Delhi Gramodaya Abhiyan.
