Delhi Train Status: Daily Commuters Hit Hard As Local Trains Delay Up To 2.5 Hours; Check Affected Routes

While the punctuality of long-distance trains is steadily improving, the woes of local commuters persist. On Friday, most long-distance trains arriving in Delhi are running on schedule. However, a few trains, including the Darbhanga-New Delhi Humsafar and the Avadh-Assam Express, are running delayed by over two hours. Consequently, due to the late arrival, the New Delhi-Darbhanga Humsafar Special is scheduled to depart with a delay of one hour and forty-five minutes.

It is worth noting that daily commuters are facing the most difficulties. The Rewari-Old Delhi Passenger is running late by two and a half hours, the Jind-Old Delhi Passenger by an hour and fifteen minutes and the Panipat-Old Delhi EMU by one hour.

Additionally, the Dankaur-Shakur Basti EMU, Panipat-Ghaziabad MEMU, Panipat-New Delhi Ladies Special EMU and Jind-New Delhi MEMU are delayed by approximately 45 minutes.

Several other local trains, including the Saharanpur-Old Delhi Passenger, Saharanpur-Old Delhi MEMU, Mathura-Ghaziabad EMU, Ghaziabad-Old Delhi EMU, Bulandshahr-Tilak Bridge MEMU, Kurukshetra-Old Delhi EMU, and Kurukshetra-Hazrat Nizamuddin EMU, are running behind schedule by about half an hour.
