Delhi Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an Orange Alert for dense fog as cold weather continues to intensify in Delhi-NCR. The maximum temperature in the capital on Wednesday (January 14) is expected to be around 20 degrees Celsius, while the minimum is likely to hover around 4 degrees Celsius.
Cold winds are expected to blow at a speed of 5 to 10 kilometres per hour during the afternoon. Meanwhile, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CCPB), the air quality was recorded in the ‘very poor’ category, with an AQI of 357 at 7 am on Wednesday. The minimum temperature in Noida, Ghaziabad, and Gurugram is around 3-4 degrees Celsius.

Delhi Weather Forecast
1. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a gradual rise in both maximum and minimum temperatures from January 15 to January 20.
2. During this period, the maximum temperature is likely to reach around 23 Degree Celsius, while the minimum temperature may hover near 10 Degree Celsius.
3. Despite the warming trend, light to moderate fog is expected to continue during the morning hours.
4. Weather conditions may begin to change after January 20.
5. Between January 20 and January 23, Delhi could witness rain along with possible hailstorms, affecting overall weather conditions.
On Tuesday morning, Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 3 degrees Celsius, marking the coldest January morning in the past three years. The sharp dip in temperature intensified the cold wave conditions across the capital. Residents woke up to biting cold and dense chill in several parts of the city.
