Union Road Transport and Highways Minister, Nitin Gadkari, announced that the government will spend Rs 50,000 crore on road projects in Delhi over the next six months. He also mentioned that his ministry is currently working on development projects worth Rs 1,00,000 crore. He said this while speaking at an event on Tuesday in Rohini (Sector-2) to open a new building for the Bhagwan Parshuram Seva Pratishthan.
During his speech, the minister expressed his happiness with the construction of the new Urban Extension Road-2 (UER-2), noting that he used that very road to get to the event. He said it's great to see good roads being built and the country's infrastructure improving.
The minister also shared some thoughts on broader topics, saying that "knowledge is the greatest power" and that India can become a "world leader" by using it. He emphasised that this leadership should not be about dominating others, but about working for the good of humanity, based on principles of religion, justice and truth.

He spoke about Lord Parshuram, describing him as a master of both ancient scriptures (knowledge) and weaponry (strength), and called him an inspiration for everyone. Nitin Gadkari said the best way to honor Lord Parshuram is to follow his path of truth, justice, and righteousness.
Before his speech, the minister officially opened the new building and also unveiled a statue of Lord Parshuram.
