Oldest National Park:  Yellowstone National Park, situated in the United States of America, is the oldest national park in the world, according to the Guinness World Records. This national park was built in 1872. It covers a total area of more than 8,980 km² (3,470 miles²) across Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. The park was built to protect its unique geothermal features, diverse wildlife, and picturesque natural landscapes for public enjoyment and conservation. It stands out as the first example of a national park and a stepping stone for such a worldwide movement to protect natural habitats with similar sanctuaries.

The place is also known for its geothermal activities, like geysers, along with hot springs, mud pots, and fumaroles. Other than this, the park is also home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. Animals like bears, wolves, bison, and elk also live here. Additionally, one of the highlights is that the Yellowstone National Park is also known for its supervolcano caldera, which is a Yellowstone plateau volcanic field. The place witnessed massive eruptions millions of years ago and is still a site of scientific interest and natural beauty.
