According to official data, a total of 2,38,50,796 students registered for the Class 10 exams this year. Of them, 23,71,939 students appeared, and 22,21,636 successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 93.66%.

This year, 29847 students from foreign schools registered for the CBSE Class 10th board examination. Of them, 29745 appeared for the test and 29320 passed. The pass percentage is 98.57 per cent.

Trivandrum and Vijaywada are the best performing regions in the CBSE Class 10th Result 2025. 99.79 per cent students pass from these regions alone.

A total of 26675 schools participated in the CBSE 10th Board Exam. The Class 10 CBSE exams took place in 7,837 exam centres. Last year, 25724 schools took part and the exam was held in 7603 exam centres.

As per the CBSE statistics, girls have outperformed boys by a difference of 2.37 point in the CBSE Class 10th Result 2025. 

Girls' pass percentage: 95 per cent

Boys: 92.63 per cent

Transgender 95 per cent.

In the CBSE Class 10 exams 2025, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) schools have topped registering a pass percentage of 99.49%, closely followed by Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) at 99.45%. Independent (private) schools registered a pass percenatge of 94.17%.
