AISSEE Registration 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the application process for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025 for admission to Classes VI and IX at Sainik Schools and approved New Sainik Schools for the academic year 2025-26. The last date to apply for the Sainik School Admission Application form will be January 13, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at the official AISSEE portal.

"Candidates who desire to appear in the exam may read the detailed Information Bulletin for AISSEE 2025 and apply online only at https://exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/ between 24.12.2024 and 13.01.2025. The exam fee is also required to be paid online through payment gateway, using debit/credit cards or internet banking," reads the notification.

Eligibility For Admission To Class VI

Candidates should be between 10 and 12 years of age as of 31.03.2025. Admission for girls is only available in Class VI at all Sainik Schools. The eligibility criteria for admission to the approved New Sainik Schools are outlined in the information bulletin.

Eligibility For Admission To Class IX

Candidates should be between 13 and 15 years of age as of 31.03.2025 and must have passed Class VIII from a recognised school at the time of admission. Admission for girls is open for Class IX, subject to the availability of vacancies, with the same age criteria as for boys, as detailed in the Information Bulletin.

AISSEE Registration 2025: Application Fees

The application fee for AISSEE 2025 varies by category and must be paid online. The fee is as follows:

- General/Defence/OBC (NCL): Rs 800
- SC/ST: Rs 650
