AP POLYCET 2024: The Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training will hold the AP Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) on April 27, according to the Technical Education Commission Chadalavada Nagarani. The AP Polycet registration 2024 normally starts in February.

The board will shortly establish the AP POLYCET official website in 2024, which will include a notice and application form. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can register online at polycetap.nic.in.

The AP Technical Education Board will administer the POLYCET test to candidates seeking admission to all diploma courses in engineering, non-engineering, and technology. Polytechnic schools, including aided and unaided private polytechnic colleges operating as second shifts in private engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh, will admit students based on their AP POLYCET scores for the academic year 2024-25.

“All the 87 government polytechnic colleges in the State will provide free coaching in English and Telugu for the PolyCET-2024, and the preparation books will be distributed free of charge to the students after the Class 10 exams are finished,” The Hindu reported.

Students who have passed the SSC Class 10 test or an equivalent exam and scored at least 35% in aggregate with mathematics as a required subject are eligible to apply for the POLYCET exam 2024.

The POLYCET question paper will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions. The mathematics component will consist of 60 questions, while physics and chemistry will each contain 30 questions.
