New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: As per revised schedule released by the official website of the Board of Secondary Education, the AP SCC 2020 examination, which was scheduled to begin on March 23, in Andhra Pradesh has been postponed. The examinations will now be conducted from March 31 and commence on April 14. Candidates who will appear in the AP SCC 2020 examinations can check the revised schedule by visiting the official website-- bseap.org
The AP SSC examinations 2020 have been postponed because of the local body election to be conducted in the ongoing month. Reports suggest that Andhra Pradesh is rushing to conduct the local body elections to save Rs 4,000 crore funds from getting lapsed at the end of FY20-21 because of which the government has decided to defer the AP SCC exam 2020 by a few weeks.
According to Jagran Josh, Dr. Ramesh Kumar, State Election Commissioner (SEC) had said that state government had earlier said communicated its plan to reschedule the AP SSC 2020 examinations. According to him, the senior government officials (after a meeting) had told the commission that it will take appropriate measures to postpone the AP SCC 2020 examinations.
The revised schedule of Andhra Pradesh SCC examinations released on the website are as follows.
March 31: First Language Paper-I (Group A), Paper-II ( Composite Course)
April 1: First Language Paper-I (Group A), Paper- II ( Composite Course), OSSC Main Language Paper-II (Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian)
April 3: Second Language
April 4: English-I
April 6: English-II
April 7: Mathematics-I
April 8: Mathematics-II
April 9: General Science-I
April 11: General Science-II
April 13: Social Studies-I
April 15: Social Studies-II
April 16: OSSC Main Language-II ((Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian)
April 17: SCC Vocational Course (Theory)
Note: The duration of the examination will depend on the subject.
As per the previous time table, the AP SCC 2020 exam was scheduled to begin at 9.30 am.
Candidates have been advised to download the AP SSC 2020 exam admit card. It is mandatory to bring hall-tickets at the examination centre.
