Assam Board Class 10, 12 Exam 2026: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced the Class 10 and 12 board exam dates for 2026. The Class 10 or HSLC exam 2026 will begin on February 10, 2026, and the Class 12 or HS exam 2026 will begin on February 11, 2026.
The Assa Chief Minister shared the dates for the HSLC and HS board exams on hism official X account. The post reads, "Important Exam Update: 1. HSLC (Matriculation) Exam 2026 will begin on February 10, 2026. 2. Higher Secondary Final Exam 2026 will begin on February 11, 2026. Best wishes to all students for the upcoming exams."

The board has not yet released the Class 10 and 12 datesheets. However, SEBA Assam has reopened the form filling window for the HSLC exam. This window will reopen on November 17th and close on November 20th, 2025. The last date for payment submission is November 21st, 2025.
The Assam Board further stated that students who complete the form filling process during this extended period will be allowed to appear for exams only under the APL category. Institution heads have also been instructed to update candidates' bank details, if they haven't been updated yet.
Meanwhile, the window for filling out Class 12 or HS exam forms has been closed. For more information, candidates can visit the official websites of Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) Assam or Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC).
Assam Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2026: Passing marks
In the Assam HSLC (Class 10) exam, students must obtain at least 30 per cent marks in each subject and 30 per cent in aggregate, wherever applicable, to pass both the theory and practical sections separately. For the Assam HS (Class 12) exam, candidates must obtain a minimum of 30 per cent marks in each subject, 30 per cent in practical and 30 per cent in aggregate, wherever applicable, to pass both the theory and practical sections separately.
