Assam DEE Teachers Recruitment 2025: Assam’s Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) has issued the notification to recruit school teachers for lower primary and upper primary schools in the state. The application process will begin from February 20, 2025, and the last date to apply will be March 31, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can check the Assam DEE Recruitment 2025 notification at dee.assam.gov.in.

This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 4500 school teachers for lower primary and upper primary schools in the state. Out of the total vacancies, 2,900 positions are allocated for Assistant Teachers in lower primary schools, while 1,600 positions are designated for Assistant Teachers, Science Teachers, and Hindi Teachers in upper primary schools. DEE Assam will publish separate merit lists for each district and category.

Assam DEE Recruitment 2025: Important Details

- Candidates who have cleared ATET or CTET (for LP or UP schools, depending on the post) are eligible to apply.

- The language chosen as Language 1 or Language 2 in CTET or ATET must align with the medium of instruction of the school they wish to apply for.

- DEE Assam will release separate merit lists for each district and category. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and not older than 40 years as of January 1, with age relaxation provided for candidates from reserved categories.

- Candidates with more than two living children born on or after January 1, 2021 (from a single or multiple partners) will not be eligible to participate in the recruitment process.
