Assam HSLC Compartmental Exam 2026: SEBA Class 10th results 2026 have been declared today, bringing relief and excitement among lakhs of students across Assam. This year the overall percentage rose to 65.62%, which is higher compared to last year. Moreover, boys have outperformed girls as per the data.
A commendable 85,189 students have obtained first division out of a total of f 429,249 candidates who appeared in the exam. 150,167 and 46,345 students passed in the second and third divisions, respectively.
For students who have failed the exam, the Board has provided compartment exams 2026. Eligible students can register and appear for the exams as per the schedule which will be announced soon.

Assam HSLC Compartmental Exam 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Students have to meet the following eligibility criteria to be able to apply for the compartmental exams 2026.
1. Students must have failed in a maximum of three subjects.
2. They must have at least scored 170 aggregate marks in the HSLC examination.
This will be the last opportunity for students to improve their scores. The exams will be held in a single shift across the state.
Assam HSLC 2026: Passing Criteria
To pass the SEBA HSLC exam 202, students need a minimum score of 30% in each subject they appear for. Simultaneously, they must have obtained at least 180 total marks. Those who pass will be eligible for admission to higher classes in the same academic year.
