School, Colleges Closed Tomorrow: A Bharat Bandh has been organized by the Reservation Bachao Sangharsh Samiti tomorrow, August 21, in protest of the Supreme Court's decision regarding SC/ST reservations.

According to a Times of India story, the police have been directed to bolster security force deployment throughout all districts to prevent any unrest.

According to DGP UR Sahoo, the SPs have also been instructed to work with the organizations advocating for a national shutdown to maintain peace and order.

Previously, the Supreme Court permitted states to establish subcategories within the SC and ST groups, which provoked national discussions. "Those who really need it should get priority in reservation," the SC emphasized.

As per many media reports, the primary aim of the 'Bharat Bandh' is to contest the verdict of the Supreme Court regarding reservations for the SC and ST.
