Bihar Board Exam 2024: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna, has announced that Class 10 matric students who attempt to forcibly enter the exam premises after the specified entry time will face strict consequences. Such students will be banned from appearing in exams for two years. Moreover, the board has stated that suspension measures will be taken against these students, and they will also be subject to filing of FIRs for criminal trespass, as per the media reports.
The BSEB class 10th exam 2024 will be conducted in two shifts, including the first shift, which will be held from 9.30 am to 12:45 pm, and the second shift will start from 2 pm to 5.15 pm. According to the board, students are advised to strictly adhere to exam timings. Morning shift students are required to arrive by 9 am, while gates for the afternoon shift will close at 1.30 pm.
“Students who reach the examination centre later than the scheduled time for admission, by jumping over the boundary wall or attempting to forcefully enter the examination centre will be considered illegal,” the board said.
“This is a violation of the board's instructions and falls under the category of Criminal Trespass. Thus, this is a clear attempt to influence the integrity of the examination without any malpractices and is also a criminal act,” it added.

Furthermore, if a student who has forcibly entered the exam premises is permitted to sit for the Bihar Board Class 10 exam 2024 by the center superintendent, action will be initiated against the responsible individuals, which may include suspension and filing of FIRs. Moreover, the board has implemented videography measures and installed CCTVs at exam centers to deter malpractices and the use of unfair means during the examination.
According to media reports, on the first day of the Bihar Board Class 12 exams 2024, the board took strict action by expelling 51 students who were found using unfair means. Moreover, eight individuals were apprehended for impersonating Class 12 students.
