Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2023: The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) will launch the registration period for the hiring of Bihar Police sub-inspector positions on the official website, bpssc.bih.nic.in, Tomorrow, October 5, 2023. The registration period will expire on November 5.
To recruit 1,275 positions, the commission is holding the Bihar Police SI 2023 test. The BPSSC will conduct a recruitment process for 441 vacancies in the unreserved category, 275 in the SC category, 16 in the ST category, 238 in the EBC category, 107 in the OBC category, 82 in the backward class (female), 111 in the Economic Weaker Sections, and 5 in the transgender category.
Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have earned a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Candidates that fall within the unreserved category must be between the ages of 20 and 37. Candidates who are female and who fall under the OBC and EBC categories should be between the ages of 20 and 40. The maximum age for candidates in the SC and ST categories shall be 42 years old. Male applicants for the positions should be in good physical condition. Unreserved category members must be at least 165 cm tall and have a chest measurement between 81 and 86 cm (after inhaling).

The chest measurements for OBC and EBC candidates should be similar to those of unreserved candidates, while for SC and ST candidates, those measurements should be 79 cm and 84 (after inhaling). Female candidates should be 48 kg and 155 cm tall.
Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2023: Exam Pattern
Two phases of the examination will take place. 100 general knowledge and problem-solving questions will be covered in the Bihar Police SI 2023 prelims test. The candidates will have two hours to tackle the questions, and they will receive two marks for each accurate response. To pass Paper 1, candidates must receive at least 30% of the possible points.
There will be two papers in the Bihar Police SI 2023 main examination. The first test will be in Hindi and carry 100 two-point totals. Questions on current events, physics, mathematics, Indian history, logic, geography, and political science will be included in the second exam. Additionally, there will be 100 questions for two marks.
Each student will have two hours to tackle the assignments. Each erroneous response in both phases will result in a deduction of 0.2 marks for each correct response. The students will need to show up for the physical examination test right after the test.
