Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2025: The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has officially published the notification for the recruitment of Sub Inspectors (SI) in the Bihar Police Department for the year 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the recruitment procedure by visiting the website. Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2025: Total Vacancies
Through this recruitment drive, a total of 1799 vacancies have been announced by the Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission under advertisement number 05/2025. Eligible graduate candidates from across Bihar can apply online through the BPSSC official website.
According to the official notification, the application process for the recruitment of Sub Inspectors (SI) in the Bihar Police Department will begin from September 26, 2025 and will conclude on October 26, 2025.
Before applying, students must ensure they have all the necessary documents ready such as educational certificates and photographs. The application fee for applying for the recruitment is Rs. 100 for all categories, including General, OBC, EWS, and SC/ST candidates of Bihar.
Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2025: Selection Pattern
The commission will scrutinize all the online applications, and eligible candidates will have to appear for a written competitive examination that will be held in two stages – preliminary and main examination. The recruitment examination for both stages will be based on multiple choice questions.
The preliminary examination will comprise 100 questions, and the total marks will be 200. The time duration to complete the examination is 2 hours. Those candidates who will be scoring less than 30 percent marks will not be qualified for the main examination.

Step 2. On the home page, click on the link to apply for Bihar Police Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2025 and register yourself.
Step 3. Fill in the application form with required educational qualifications, category, and other necessary information.
Step 4. After filling the application form, students have to upload scanned copies of the necessary documents.
Step 5. Pay the application fee and submit the registration form before the deadline.
Step 6. Students are advised to download and keep a copy of the application and payment receipt for future reference.
