BPSC Recruitment 2024: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has postponed the registration deadline for the posts of head teacher and headmaster until April 10, 2024. Qualified applicants who are still not registered can fill out the BPSC headmaster, head teacher application form 2024 on the official website of BPSC at bpsc.bih.nic.in.

The BPSC recruitment drive aims to fill 6,061 headmaster positions and 40,247 head teachers for primary schools in the state's education department. The commission will soon publish the BPSC headmaster and head teacher admit cards on its official website.

Aspirants from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), persons with disabilities (PwD), and female candidates must pay a Rs 200 application fee to register for BPSC head teacher and headmaster positions. Applicants from other categories must pay an application fee of Rs 750.

Candidates for the BPSC headmaster and headteacher recruitment exams must have a postgraduate degree with at least 50% marks. Aspirants from the other backward class (OBC), SC, ST, PwD, women, and economically weaker section (EWS) groups will receive a 5% reduction in the qualifying degree requirements.

Furthermore, applicants must have a valid Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) score. Aspirants who work in schools associated with boards such as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE), and the Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) are free from submitting TET scores.

BPSC Recruitment 2024: How to apply?

Applicants should follow the processes outlined below to complete the BPSC application form 2024.

Step 1: Visit the official website of BPSC at bpsc.bih.nic.in.

Step 2: After this on the homepage, click on the “Apply Online” tab and then on the head teacher headmaster application link.

Step 3: Now, fill out the registration form and generate log in credentials.

Step 4: Next, fill out the application form, make the payment and upload the required documents.

Step 5: Download the BPSC Recruitment 2024 application form and take a printout of the same for further reference.
