The Bihar Board 12th result 2024 comprises details such as the student's name, roll number, parents' names, date of birth, and the marks obtained by the student in each subject.

To successfully pass the Bihar Board 12th examination, students must attain a minimum of 33 per cent marks in each subject. If a student fails to secure minimum marks, the board will provide students with an opportunity to clear the exam through supplementary examinations.

Annually, alongside the Bihar Board 12th result, the BSEB publishes the list of students who have secured the top positions in the BSEB class 12 exam 2024. Only one candidate is selected for each stream. The student with the highest score is ranked first in their respective stream.

This year, the intermediate exam saw a total of 13,04,352 students appearing, with 6,26,431 being girls and 6,77,921 being boys. The exams took place in 1,523 exam centers throughout the state.

Annually, the BSEB conducts a press conference where they announce the names of intermediate examination toppers and result data, including pass percentage, gender-wise results, and stream-wise results. Moreover, details about the scrutiny of answer sheets and compartment examinations are provided. Following the conclusion of the press conference, the result link will be activated on the board's website, biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.

The BSEB recently cautioned students and parents regarding misleading claims concerning the Class 12 board exams. It emphasised that certain anti-social elements, masquerading as board representatives, are demanding money via phone calls, promising higher marks in Matric and Inter exams.   

The board reassured that BSEB exams employ barcoded answer sheets, ensuring their confidentiality remains intact. Consequently, altering the marks on these answer sheets is impossible. The BSEB urged students and parents to report any such instances to the appropriate authorities.

To pass the Bihar Board 12th exam, students must get at least 33% in each subject. If a student does not achieve the required minimum marks, the board will give them the option to pass the exam through extra examinations.

On March 2, 2024, the board made available the official MCQ-based answer keys for the BSEB Class 12th questions.

Media reports state that the verification of Bihar board toppers is anticipated to start on March 12.

The BSEB released answer keys for objective-type questions from the Intermediate and Matric exams prior to the results being announced. The 12th answer key objection window is now closed. On the other hand, there is still time to voice concerns about the 10th answer key.
