CAT 2024 Registration last date: The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) will end its Common Admission Test (CAT 2024) registration process tomorrow, September 20. The CAT exam 2024 will be administered in three rounds on November 24 to evaluate qualification for admission to different management programmes provided by IIMs. Along with the CAT test date 2024, the IIM has published the entire timetable on its official website, iimcat.ac.in.

Applicants who want to enrol in postgraduate and doctoral programs at IIMs must submit the CAT application form by 5 p.m. on September 20. The entrance exam is expected to be administered in around 170 cities. According to the institute, applicants would be able to choose from five preferred cities.

“After the closure of the registration window, a very short edit window will be made available to the registered applicants,” it said. However, applicants will only be able to amend their test city options and upload the right photograph and signature.

The CAT question paper will be divided into three sections: verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical thinking, and quantitative ability, and will last 120 minutes. According to the exam format, students will have exactly 40 minutes to complete one section and will not be able to transition from one to another.

CAT 2024: Documents required, image size, and other details

Candidates must upload their Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, bachelor's and master's degree details, and any other professional degrees they may hold. The image size and file format information for photographs, signatures, and other documents are provided below.

How to apply for CAT 2024?

The CAT application is divided into six parts: personal details, academics, job experience, programmes, test city, and declaration. Aspirants can use the methods outlined below to complete the CAT application form 2024.

Step 1: Visit the official website of CAT at iimcat.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘New Candidate Registration’ link.

Step 3: After this, enter basic details to generate a user ID and password.

Step 4: Now, login again using the credentials generated.

Step 5: Next, proceed to fill out the personal and academic details.

Step 6: Select five preferred cities to appear for the exam.

Step 7: Next, upload documents in the specified format.

Step 8: Download it and take a printout of the same for future reference.
