From Ranchi to CBSE 12th National Topper:  In a moment of immense pride for Jharkhand, Bhavya Ranjan, a student of Oxford Public School in Ranchi, has been declared the National Topper in the CBSE Class 12 Arts stream for 2026. Bhavya achieved an extraordinary score of 99.8 per cent, placing her at the pinnacle of academic success in the country.

Her father, Rajiv Ranjan, and mother, Bikki Gandhi, are especially overjoyed at their daughter's success. They state that today, their daughter has realised their dream; Bhavyya's goal now is to prepare for the Civil Services.

According to Jagran.com, Bhavya Ranjan achieved the national top position in the CBSE Class 12th 2026 exam, securing an impressive score of 99.8 per cent in the Arts stream.

Rigorous Preparation Bhavya attributed her stellar performance to the specialised "Target 100" group initiated by her school's Academic Director, Dr Simi Mehta. This intensive program involved solving 100 questions daily with immediate teacher guidance, which significantly boosted her confidence and conceptual clarity. She maintained a disciplined study routine of 10 to 12 hours daily.

She is currently preparing for the CUET exams scheduled for late May to secure admission into top-tier institutions like Delhi University or BHU.
