CBSE Board 12 Sample Paper 2024 History: The CBSE Class 12 History Board Exam 2024 is scheduled to be conducted on March 28, 2024. CBSE Class 10, 12 board exams 2024 commenced on February 15, 2024, and will end on April 2, 2024. The CBSE Class 12 History Board Exam 2024 will start at 10:30 AM and conclude at 1:30 PM. Practicing the CBSE Class 12 History sample paper for 2023-24 can give students a clear understanding of the exam pattern, types of questions, possible responses, and more. This sample paper reflects the format of the actual class 12 History question paper. By practicing through this sample paper, students can familiarise themselves with the types of questions and the marking scheme used by the board.
According to the CBSE Class 12 History sample paper, the question paper consists of five Sections including A, B, C, D, and E, comprising a total of 34 questions, all of which are compulsory. In Section A, Questions 1 to 21 are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) each carrying 1 mark. Section B comprises Questions 22 to 27, which are Short Answer Type Questions, with each question carrying 3 marks and answers not exceeding 60-80 words. Section C includes Questions 28 to 30, which are Long Answer Type Questions, carrying 8 marks each, with answers not exceeding 300-350 words. Section D contains Questions 31 to 33, which are Source-based questions with three sub-questions, each carrying 4 marks. Section E consists of Question 34, which is Map-based, carrying 5 marks, including the identification and location of significant test items, with the map attached to the answer book.
The question paper does not offer an overall choice but provides internal choices in some questions. Candidates must attempt only one of the choices provided. Furthermore, specific instructions accompany each section and question where necessary.
