CBSE Board Exam 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to release the datesheet for the class 10 and class 12 board exam 2024 soon. Once the detailed subject-wise CBSE 2024 Class 10, 12 date sheet is out, students can access it by visiting the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in.

The CBSE board is expected to issue the board admit card for both classes in February 2024. Once the admit card is out, all the students are expected to collect it from their respective schools. After collecting the hall tickets, students are advised to check all the details mentioned on the admit card carefully.

CBSE Board Exam 2024: Practical Exams

Earlier, the CBSE board released an important official notice which mentions the bifurcation of marks for practical and internal assessment examinations in 2024. As per the official notice, the Class 10 and 12 board practical exams will begin from January 1 and the theory exams will commence from February 15 onwards.

CBSE Board Exam 2024: Practice Papers

The board has uploaded additional practice papers for the Class 10 and 12 students at the official website of CBSE at cbseacademic.nic.in. Students who are going to appear in the CBSE board exam 2024 can download these papers and start solving these papers to score well in the final exams.

CBSE Board Exam 2024: Marking Scheme

For the Class 10 and 12 board exams that will take place in 2024, the CBSE has updated its assessment scheme. This includes adding more multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and lowering the weighting of questions that call for short or long replies. Twenty per cent of the weight will go toward the objective questions. Questions of the long and short response varieties now carry 30% less weight than before, down from 40%.

The marking scheme has been posted by CBSE on its official website. Students can verify the CBSE marking scheme by following these instructions.

Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the board examination option, available on the homepage.

Step 3: After this, click on the link that reads, “Marking scheme”.

Step 4: The CBSE marking scheme PDF file will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Save or download the PDF and also take a printout for future reference.
