CBSE Class 10 Science Paper Analysis: The CBSE Class 10 Science exam paper concluded today, February, March 2. CBSE Class 10 Science paper started at 10:30 am and ended at 1:30 pm. According to the experts, the science question paper was moderate in difficulty level, it had a mix of easy and moderate questions.

Experts have evaluated that the paper had a moderate difficulty level, comprising a combination of easy and moderate questions. None of the questions were beyond the prescribed syllabus. Furthermore, no competency-based questions were included, and the majority of the questions were straightforward and simple.

Bhumi V Gupta, PGT Chemistry, Vidyagyan School, Bulandshahr, states, "Marks were distributed uniformly keeping in mind knowledge, understanding, application, etc. Overall the paper was easier than in previous years. Most of the questions were directly taken from the NCERT book. The MCQs and diagram-based questions in the biology section and the numerical-based questions in the physics section were also directly taken from the NCERT book".

For the Class 10 Science Board Exam 2024, the theoretical paper, worth 80 marks, was divided into five sections and had a duration of three hours. The question paper consisted of 39 questions across 5 sections. All questions were mandatory, though some provided internal choices where students were expected to attempt only one.

Section A comprised 20 objective type questions, each carrying 1 mark. Section B included 6 Very Short questions, each worth 2 marks. Responses ranged from 30 to 50 words. Section C contained 7 Short Answer type questions, with each question carrying 3 marks. Answers were expected to range from 50 to 80 words. Section D comprised 3 Long Answer type questions, each worth 5 marks. Responses were expected to span between 80 to 120 words.
