CBSE Board Class 12 Chemistry Paper Analysis 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education concluded the CBSE Class 12 Chemistry paper today, February 27, 2024. The board conducted the chemistry paper, which was scheduled from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The Class 12 Chemistry exam was balanced and was based entirely on the NCERT curriculum, making it straightforward for students.
Experts have assessed the paper as well-balanced. The difficulty of the CBSE Class 12 Chemistry questions varied from easy to moderate.
Dr. Mayank Agnihotri, PGT Chemistry, VidyaGyan School Sitapur, stated, "The Chemistry paper followed the CBSE pattern, was balanced, and was based entirely on the NCERT curriculum. The question paper was easy for students who had thoroughly studied the class XII NCERT textbook. All the questions were direct and numerical calculations were simple and required little effort. The case study-based questions were easy to answer."
The Chemistry paper comprises 33 questions, divided as follows: 16 multiple-choice questions worth 1 mark each, five short answer questions worth 2 marks each, seven short answer questions worth three marks each in Section C, two case-based questions in Section D, and 3 long answer questions in Section E. In total, the Class 12 Chemistry paper contains 70 marks.
