CBSE Board Exams 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the board examination for the academic session 2026 for Class 10 Social Science Paper on March 7, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The Board has officially announced the board examination schedule for 2026 for both classes 10 and 12 on their official website. Students can now check  the HSC and SSC exam dates from the website.

In the Class 10 Social Science Exam 2026 there will be four sections such as History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics. Along with this, the number of Multiple Choice Questions, short answers, long answers, case-based questions, and map-based questions has also been included to judge student’s ability. This article provides the complete revised exam pattern, section-wise question distribution, marking scheme for the 2026 Social Science board exam.

Last year, the CBSE Class 10 Social Science 2025 examination was considered as easy to moderate overall. According to students, the question paper was a balanced mix of questions that aligned with the NCERT syllabus, although some sections were tricky. While straightforward, some sections like long-answer and analytical case-based questions required deeper conceptual understanding.
