CBSE Board Exams 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) class 12 board exams 2024 are all set to begin on February 15, 2024, students have enough time to prepare themselves for the exams. However, CBSE class 12th mathematics exam 2024 will be conducted on March 9, 2024. For this examination, students have to cover six units – relations and functions, algebra, calculus, vectors and three-dimensional geometry, linear programming, and probability.
The 2024 CBSE Class 12 Mathematics Exam will have a weighting of 80 marks. In addition to the theory test, schools will provide an internal assessment worth 20 marks.
There will be five sections on the question paper: A, B, C, D, and E, by the mathematics sample paper. All sections will be required to be completed; however, certain questions may allow for internal selection.
The following lists the questions by part and the corresponding marks:
- There will be two one-mark assertion-reason questions and eighteen multiple-choice questions in Section A.
- There will be five Very Short Answer (VSA)-style questions in Section B, each worth two marks.
- There will be six three-mark Short Answer (SA)-style questions in Section C.
- There will be four Long Answer (LA)-style questions in Section D, each worth five marks.
- Three four-mark, source-based, case-based, passage-based, and integrated units of assessment with sub-parts will be found in Section E.
