CBSE Board Exams 2025: The Central Board of Education (CBSE) has ruled that all schools designated as testing venues for board exams 2025 must have Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) facilities. The central board is introducing the CCTV policy for board exams beginning with the 2025 session. The exam organization will hold CBSE board exams in 2025 for about 44 lakh Class 10 and 12 students from 8,000 institutions in India and abroad.

According to the board, if a school does not have CCTV facilities, it will not be deemed an examination centre for the CBSE 10th and 12th board exams in 2025. Furthermore, institutions that want to become exam centres would have to install CCTV cameras at their own expense. The CCTV policy was designed by CBSE to guarantee that board exams are administered fairly and transparently.

“All the schools are directed to ensure that they have CCTV installed in their schools as per the policy if they do not have and wish to convey their consent to the Board for fixing their school as an examination centre,” it added.

The CBSE board has also released instructions for implementing the CCTV policy in schools during annual exams, which include the installation, operation, and administration of CCTV systems within exam sites. The primary goal of the CBSE CCTV policy is to discover and address unfair behaviours during the Class 10 and 12 board exams.
