CBSE Board Exams 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE will end the registration process to fill the List of Candidates, LOC form for CBSE Board Exam 2026 today on October 8, 2025. The LOC form is available to schools and principals on the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in. To fill and submit the LOC form for both class 10 and 12, late fee will be required.

While schools can pay the late fee until October 11, 2025, the actual List of Candidates form must be submitted today. This LOC form is compulsory for all the students who will be appearing for the Class 10 and 12 board examination next year. If the form is not submitted within the given period of deadline, students will not be allowed to participate in the examination. CBSE has stressed that schools are responsible for timely submission and payment.

CBSE Datesheet Released:

The Central Board of Secondary Education will commence the class 10 and class 12 board examinations from February 17, 2026. The tentative schedule or exam datesheet was released by the CBSE on the official website, cbse.gov.in. Students must note that the exam datesheet announced is tentative in nature. The final date sheet will be released later by the board once the LOC submission process will conclude.

According to the official date released by the CBSE, around 45 lakh candidates will appear for the class 10, 12 board examinations. For more details, students are advised to keep a close check on the official website of the CBSE. 

Steps to submit CBSE Board Exam 2026 LOC Form:

Step 1. Students must visit the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education at cbse.gov.in.

Step 2. There will be a link for the ‘Board Exam’ on the homepage.

Step 3. A new window will open on the screen where you have to select ‘LOC’ from the dropdown menu.

Step 4. Students have to register or log in and fill in the required details or credentials. 

Step 5. Pay late fee (if applicable) and submit the form and download the confirmation page.
