CBSE Class 12 Scanned Answer Sheets:  The Central Board of Secondary Education on Tuesday informed that the online application portal for obtaining scanned copies of evaluated Class XII answer books is functioning smoothly and students can submit their requests through the official system. The board also shared the update through its official social media platform X, urging students to avoid submitting repeated applications due to temporary delays in payment status updates.

 

The board stated that the portal witnessed a sudden surge in traffic soon after it opened. Despite the heavy rush, a large number of applications were successfully submitted within a short time, reflecting strong interest among students seeking access to their evaluated answer sheets.

Date Extended for Applying for Scanned Answer Books:

CBSE has announced that the last date to apply for obtaining scanned copies of evaluated Class XII answer books has been extended. The deadline has now been moved to May 23, 2026, instead of the earlier date of May 22, 2026.

Students who have not yet submitted their requests can utilise the extended timeline to apply through the official portal. The board clarified that this extension has been provided to ensure that all interested students get adequate time to complete the process without facing technical pressure.

CBSE Requests Students to Avoid Multiple Applications:

CBSE also advised students not to submit repeated requests if the payment status takes time to update on the portal. According to the board, delays may occur temporarily due to heavy traffic and server load.

The board revealed that 1,27,146 applications for obtaining 3,87,399 scanned answer books were submitted successfully by 7:30 PM on May 20, 2026, within just three hours of the portal opening. CBSE thanked students, parents, and schools for their cooperation and patience during the process.
