CBSE launches 2 flagship initiatives: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched 2 flagship initiatives that will promote career guidance in students with the help of Career Guidance Dashboard and the Counseling Hub and Spoke School Model - for the academic session 2025-26. These two new initiatives help in strengthening the institutional mechanisms for career guidance and promote holistic psychosocial wellbeing among students, which plays an important role in students overall wellbeing too.

What is the Flagship Initiative?

These new flagship initiatives introduced by the Central Board of Secondary Education, it aims to strengthen student’s institutional mechanisms for career growth and guidance which will promote holistic psychosocial wellbeing among students, the officials have mentioned. "Both initiatives are designed to benefit schools and students and will continue to modify through active input from stakeholders," said at the launch by the CBSE Chairman Rahul Singh.

During the orientation-cum-interaction session and at the launch event, a  group of experts presented a detailed walkthrough of the Career Guidance Dashboard and how it will benefit the students, highlighting its user interface, from crucial features to excellent facilities available for the students, teachers and school leaders.

Besides, a focused session on the Central Board of Secondary Education, the Counseling Hub and Spoke Model also explained its implementation architecture, school-level duties as well as the responsibilities and monitoring of the dashboard.

The students must understand how to use this career dashboard for their benefit, visit the official website and understand the key features and how it will enhance the career guidance for the students, teachers and schools. There are several students who struggle a lot when it comes to taking decisions or making crucial choices regarding their future and career.
