The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is organising a series of virtual workshops focused on enriching career development for students, parents, teachers, principals, and counsellors. These workshops aim to equip participants with a holistic approach to help them make well-informed decisions about their career paths.

"To ensure the professional development of school leaders, teachers, and counselors in the area of career/psychosocial counseling, and to facilitate students and parents in the career decision-making process, CBSE will be organizing a training series in July 2024," reads the notification.

Participation certificates will be awarded to principals, teachers, and counselors who submit the session feedback form within 24 hours after the live session concludes. Session recordings will also be accessible on CBSE's official YouTube channel for those unable to attend the sessions live.

“All concerned are encouraged to join the sessions live on Webex or via livestream. Certificate of participation will be awarded for principals, teachers, and counsellors workshops to those who submit the session feedback form within 24 hours of the live session conclusion,” said Himanshu Gupta, CBSE Secretary.

CBSE workshop 2024: Check Schedule

- Principals or school leaders: 'Principal Pioneers: Exploring New Frontiers in Career Counselling for Schools' on July 3 (3 pm to 5 pm).

- Teachers: 'Transformative Teaching: Integrating Career Education into Curricula' on July 10 (3 pm to 5 pm).

- Counselors: 'Navigating Careers with Conscience: Rethinking Counselling in Schools' on July 18 (3 pm to 5 pm).

- Parents: 'The Power of Choice: Empowering Parents for Informed Career Decisions' on July 24 (3 pm to 5 pm).

- Students: 'From Insight to Impact - Self-Reflection Strategies for Student Career Planning' on July 29 (3 pm to 5 pm).
