CBSE Re-Evaluation 2026 Update: In a recent update, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made Aadhaar verification mandatory for the Class 12th re-evaluation and rechecking process. For security purposes, the Board has asked students to enter their Aadhaar card details for re-evaluation of their answer sheets. The official portal is live now. Students who previously received scanned copies and wish to have their answer sheets re-evaluated can apply online by June 6, 2026.

CBSE Re-Evaluation 2026 Update: What To Do If Students Don’t Have an Aadhaar Card?
According to details shared by CBSE, if a student does not have an Aadhaar card, they can apply for re-evaluation using the Aadhaar details of their parent, relative, or guardian. Keep in mind that the name, date of birth, and gender listed on the Aadhaar card must match the name, date of birth, and gender of the person whose Aadhaar number is being used.
How To Apply For CBSE Class 12th Re-Evaluation?
The official portal is active now. Students can follow the given steps to submit their requests for the re-evaluation of answer sheets.
Step 1: First, apply for the scanned copies of the answer sheets for the concerned subject.
Step 2: Using the CBSE official marksheet, check the evaluated answer sheets carefully.
Step 3: Submit your observations or discrepancies to the Board through the official portal.
Step 4: A subject expert committee will review the request and communicate the final decision.
CBSE Re-Evaluation Fee 2026
The Board has significantly reduced the fee for obtaining photocopies of the answer sheets. Now students have to pay Rs 100 for re-evaluation/re-totaling of the entire answer sheet. For a single question recheck, they need to pay Rs 25.
