CBSE Class 10 social science sample paper 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold the Class 10 Social Science exam on February 25, 2025. As the SST board exam draws nearer, students can add to their preparations by practicing to solve the Social Science sample paper. The sample paper includes questions from Economics, History, Political Science and Geography. It includes 37 questions in the same pattern as the SST exam paper designed by the CBSE. Selected from previous year's CBSE Class 10 Social Science exam, the questions in the sample paper will help the students in their revision for the SST board exam 2025.
The CBSE Class 10th board exams 2025 began with the English paper on February 15 and will go on till March 18. The time allowed for the Class 10 Social Science exam will be 3 hours, between 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. according to the timetable released by CBSE.
CBSE Class 10 Social Science Sample Paper 2025: Exam Pattern
The Class 10th Social Science question paper contains 37 questions carrying 80 marks. The CBSE SST paper is divided into six sections:
Section A - 20 multiple choice questions (MCQ) for 1 mark each
Section B - 4 Very Short Answer-type questions for 2 marks each
Section C - 5 Short Answer-type questions (60 words) for 3 marks each
Section D - 4 Long Answer-type questions (120 words) carrying 5 marks each
Section E - 3 Case-based questions carrying 4 marks each
Section F - 1 Map-based question from History (2 marks) and Geography (3 marks) each
