CEED 2024 Registration: Exam Pattern
The 2024 CEED will take place on January 21 from 9 AM to 12 PM. There will be two parts to the exam: parts A and B. Candidates are required to answer questions from both portions.
Part A will take place from 9 AM to 10 AM, and Part B will follow from 10 AM to 12 PM. Three different types of objective questions will be included in Part A: multiple choice questions (MCQ), multiple select questions (MSQ), and numerical answer type (NAT). Part-A answers must be entered into a computer. According to the IIT Bombay, these questions will be of the design aptitude variety and will test candidates' visual and spatial abilities, environmental and social awareness, analytical and logical reasoning, language, observational skills, and design sensitivity.
Five questions in Part B will test students's design, sketching, and writing abilities. The answers to the questions in Part B should be typed into the computer, NOT into the answer book that will be provided by the invigilator. However, the candidate must check the relevant box on the computer screen to show that they will provide the same response. The answer sheets for Part B will be collected after the test.
