CGPDTM Exam: The Quality Council of India has decided to cancel the Preliminary Examination for Recruitment of Examiners for Patents & Designs (Group A officers) which was conducted on September 3. The CGPDTM exam was conducted online mode at various exam centers across Maharashtra state. However, many candidates who appeared in the exam complained regarding technical glitches. In light of this, the council has decided to cancel the exam.
“Some Irregularities/ Technical Glitches have been observed in the Online Examination Conducted on 3rd September 2023 for recruitment of Examiners of Patents & Designs (Group ‘A’ officers) for the Office of CGPDTM. Competent Authority has decided to cancel the examination to ensure fairness, credibility and transparency in the said recruitment process. The new schedule for examination shall be announced in due course,” reads the official notification.
The Council will release the new date of the Preliminary Examination for Recruitment of Examiners for Patents & Designs (Group A officers) soon. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website for the latest updates. The council will also issue the revised admit cards for the aspirants. Candidates must bring their CGPDTM admit card along with their valid ID proof on the day of the examination. Candidates who fail to bring their admit card will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 553 vacant posts in the organisation. The registration process began on July 14, 2023, and concluded on August 4, 2023. Now the council will announce the revised exam dates and admit card. Candidates are advised to check the official website regularly for the latest updates.
