Bihar School Holiday cuts: The festive break for all government schools in Bihar has been cut from 23 days to 11 days. Reduced festive holidays are observed between September and December. Because August 31 has been removed from the updated list of holidays, Raksha Bandhan Holiday 2023 is most likely cancelled. The Raksha Bandhan School Holiday was previously declared by the school administration on August 31. View the most recent list of Bihar school holidays below.
The Bihar Education Department specifies that students should spend 220 working days in school. The Raksha Bandhan, Haritalika Vrat Teej, Jiutiya, Vishwakarma Puja, Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Bhai Dooj, and Guru Nanak Jayanti holidays have all been cancelled by the KK Pathak-led Bihar education department to guarantee this.

Between August 28 and December 31, there are revised public holidays.

The number of days the school was closed for Durga Puja had been decreased from six to three, including a Sunday, following the prior holiday list. The dates for Diwali and the Chhath festival in 2022 were from November 13 to November 21. This year, there will be a single-day vacation for Hitragupta Puja on November 15, and a holiday for Diwali on November 12. Meanwhile, for Chhath Puja there will be a holiday on November 19 and 20, 2023.
