Chennai School Holiday Today: In view of Cyclone Michuang, the Tamil Nadu government announced today, December 7, to be a day off for schools and universities. Due to district-wide flood-relief efforts, the School Education Department has ordered that educational institutions remain closed today. Parents and students are advised to contact their respective schools to know the school holiday status.
Due to Cyclone Michaung, the Tamil Nadu School Education Department has postponed the district-level half-yearly exams for students. The districts includes Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur, and Chennai are the ones where the exams have been postponed. On the other hand, half-yearly exams in other districts will begin today, December 7, 2023, according to the schedule.
Cyclone Michuang has caused significant damage in several Tamil Nadu locations. Numerous schools in Chennai have been transformed into shelters and assistance operations to aid individuals impacted by the cyclone. Since December 4, schools in Chennai have been closed.
