Chhattisgarh CGBSE Board Exams: The government of Chhattisgarh has decided to hold the state board exams for both Classes 10 and 12 twice during the same academic year. The state's school education department made the announcement of the decision. The education department mentioned that the final board exams will be held in two phases, including in March and July. The academic year for the implementation of the two exams has not yet been finalised.

A decision regarding finalising the academic session will be made in the coming days, according to CGBSE Secretary Vijay Kumar Goyal, as reported by the news agency PTI. The final exams for Classes 10 and 12 are administered by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE).

According to the order, students who register for the board exam's first phase will be able to appear for the second round without changing courses or subjects. For the second phase, these students will have to fill out an additional examination form.

“… The first phase of final board examinations will be held in March and the second one in July. Those students who enroll for the first phase will be eligible to appear in the second round without changing their subjects. Also, it is compulsory to fill a separate examination form for the second phase,” the order reads.

Students who want to improve their first-phase exam grades will also benefit from the second exam phase. Candidates can register for the second phase by filling out a form if they missed the exam, received supplementary, or failed in every subject in the first phase.
