The ICSE 2025 examination was held across 67 written subjects, including 20 Indian languages, 14 foreign languages, and one Classical language. Meanwhile, the ISC 2025 exam covered 47 written subjects, comprising 12 Indian languages, four foreign languages, and two Classical languages, reflecting the Council's continued emphasis on linguistic diversity and academic breadth.

In 2024, the CISCE concluded the ICSE Class 10 exams on March 28 and announced the results on May 6. 99.47 per cent of students passed CISCE Class 10 exams last year. As many as 2,695 schools participated in ICSE exams, with 82.48 per cent (2,223) schools achieving a 100 per cent pass percentage.

This year, 99.45% of girls successfully cleared the exams, outperforming boys, who recorded a pass percentage of 98.64%.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) discontinued compartment exams from 2024. In their place, CISCE introduced re-evaluation of answer scripts and improvement exams for students aiming to boost their marks in the same year. Improvement exams can be taken in up to two subjects.

Apart from the official websites, students can also check their CISCE Board Result 2025 via SMS. To do so, they need to type their ISC Unique ID and send it to 09248082883, the number provided by CISCE. They will receive an SMS shortly with their subject-wise marks

To check the Class X results on digilocker, visit the official website for digilocker portal at digilocker.gov.in,

1. Locate the CISCE section
2. For ICSE or Class X results
3. Click on Get Class X results button
4. Enter your index number, unique id and date of birth
5. Click on submit
6. Your result will appear on the screen

1. Students can go for rechecking of their ICSE and ISC results 2025. To apply for rechecking of your results click on the menu link of Public services on the CISCE website.
2. Then click on the link to login to CISCE service portal by using registerd email id and password. if you don't have an account create one by clicking on register now
3. The head of the school can apply for recheck of results of their students through Careers Portal.
4. The re=evaluation module will be available for three days only from the day of the declaration of recheck results. The date of declaration of re-check results will be notified on cisce.org

The candidates who are not satisfied with the recheck result of the subjects for which they had applied, will be permitted to apply for re-evaluation of their answer scripts of those subjects or papers only. Candidates can apply for re-evaluation using the menu link ‘Public Services’ on the CISCE’s website – cisce.org. 

Candidates who wish to improve their marks in the same year of the examination, may take the ICSE and ISC 2025 improvement exams in a maximum of two subjects.

The Class 10 and Class 12 CISCE improvement examination will be conducted in July 2025.

Candidates can follow these steps to access the ICSE 2025 results by visiting the DigiLocker portal. The steps to be followed for accessing results on the DigiLocker portal are given below:

(a) Visit the Results Portal: Go to https://results.digilocker.gov.in

(b) Locate the CISCE section: The DigiLocker results landing page will display a designated CISCE section.

For ICSE (Class X) Year 2025 Results:

(i) Click on the “Get Class X Result” button.

(ii) On the next page, enter the following details: Index Number, Unique ID, Date of Birth (as per the admission card)

(iii) Click the “Submit” button to view the ICSE Class 10th result

Re-evaluation requests must be submitted via the CISCE Service Portal. Students need a registered email and password to apply. Schools can apply through the CAREERS Portal.

The ICSE, ISC results will be announced on Wednesday at 11 am.

Students who appeared for the Class 10 ICSE and 12 ISC exams 2025 can download the CISCE results from cisce.org, results.cisce.org and DigiLocker.

Of the 2,695 participating schools, 82.48% (2,223 schools) achieved a 100% pass rate. In comparison, the 2023 results were announced on May 14, following exams held from February 27 to March 29.

The ISC exams have consistently recorded high success rates. In 2024, girls achieved a pass percentage of 99.65% and boys 99.31%, resulting in an overall rate of 99.47%. In 2023, the figures were slightly lower, with girls at 99.21%, boys at 98.71%, and an overall pass rate of 98.94%.

The ICSE and ISC 2025 improvement examination will be conducted in July 2025, CISCE said while announcing the Class 10 and Class 12 result date and time.

Students can apply for re-checking directly on the website or through their schools. The rechecking fee last year was:,

2. ISC: Rs 1,000 per subject
