CLAT 2026 Registration: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) is all set to conclude the online registration process for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) by October 31, 2025 on their official website. Those candidates who wish to seek admissions into law courses can apply online at the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in within the given period of deadline.
The CLAT 2026 Examination will be conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) on Sunday, December 7, 2025 in offline mode. The window for filling the application or registration form was opened on August 1, 2025, for both CLAT UG (Undergraduate) and CLAT PG (Postgraduate) examinations.
About CLAT Exam:
CLAT is considered as a national-level entrance examination which is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities every year. The examination enables students to gain admission into undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes and courses offered by 22 NLUs and other participating institutions across India.
The UG CLAT 2026 exam will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) across various sections like:
• English Language
• Current Affairs including General Knowledge
• Legal Reasoning
• Logical Reasoning
• Quantitative Techniques

Step 1. Visit the Official Website: Navigate to consortiumofnlus.ac.in and locate the CLAT 2026 registration link on the homepage.
Step 2. Create Account: Click on "New Registration" and provide basic details including name, email address, and mobile number to create your login credentials.
Step 3. Fill Application Form: Complete all sections of the online application form with accurate personal, academic, and contact information.
Step 4. Upload Documents: Scan and upload required documents including photograph, signature, class 10th certificate, class 12th marksheet, and category certificate if applicable.
Step 5. Pay Application Fee: Make the payment of INR 4,000 (general) or INR 3,500 (reserved categories) through online banking, credit card, or debit card.
Step 6. Submit and Print: Review all entered information carefully, submit the application, and download the confirmation page for future reference.
