CLAT 2027 Exam Centre: The Consortium of National Law Universities has issued an official notice related to the revised centre list on September 3, 2026, for law aspirants appearing for the CLAT 2027. According to the notification, Vellore and Tiruvarur have been removed from the CLAT 2027 centre list. Candidates who have chosen either of these two cities as their CLAT test centre are advised to check the selection test locations within a prescribed timeline. Once the modification window closes, no requests will be entertained.

How To Modify CLAT 2027 Exam Centre List?

Candidates can modify their test centre list using the following steps. 

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Consortium at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

Step 2: Enter your CLAT registration details to log in to your CLAT account.

Step 3: Open the “Test Centre Preference” tab.

Step 4: Select the alternative city from the list provided.

Step 5: To save your fresh city preference, click on the 'Save/Submit' option. 

CLAT 2027 Registration Window

The Consortium has opened the CLAT 2027 registration portal on August 3, 2026, at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria must complete their registration process and update their centre choice on or before October 31, 2026. Law applicants who previously selected Vellore or Tiruvallur must log in and alter their preference immediately.

CLAT 2027 Exam On December 7

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level law entrance examination conducted annually for candidates seeking admission to UG and PG law courses at prestigious law universities. A total of 26 National Law Universities in India offer admission based on CLAT scores.  The CLAT 2027 exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 6, 2026, from 2 pm to 4 pm.
