CUET UG 2024 Exam Dates: The National Testing Agency is set to conduct the Common University Entrance Test- Undergraduate (CUET UG) from May 15 to May 31, 2024. However, two of these dates, May 20 and May 25, 2024, coincide with election dates. UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar announced today, March 17, on X that the CUET UG exam will proceed as scheduled.

After the closure of CUET UG 2024 applications on March 26, 2024, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will evaluate the total number of registered students for CUET and analyse their geographic distribution. With this data, in consideration of the scheduled election dates, the NTA will then release the CUET-UG date sheet, scheduled to take place between May 15 and May 31.
The NTA has recently expanded the CUET UG curriculum by introducing two additional courses, bringing the total number of domain-specific subjects to 29. From a pool of 63 subjects, comprising 33 languages, 29 domain-specific tests, and one general test, students will be required to select only six subjects. The testing agency recommends selecting at least one language. The two new subjects added are Fashion Studies and Tourism.
The duration of the Undergraduate entrance exam will be 45 minutes. However, subjects such as Accountancy, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, Informatics Practices, Chemistry, Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, and the General Test will have a duration of 60 minutes each.
