Delhi Nursery School Admission: To accommodate pupils waiting to be admitted to nursery, KG, and first-class in Delhi's private schools for the 2023–2024 academic year, the Directorate of Education has once again extended the deadline for applications.

The date has been extended for the students who belong to the Economically Backward Class (EWS), Disadvantaged Group (DG), and are on the waiting list. Now, the last date for online application is December 5, 2023. After this, the Directorate will conduct a computerized draw of these students and will be allotted schools based on their selected options.

Delhi School Admission: Parents Demand

These students who were placed on the waiting list are eligible to reapply, complete a new application, and maintain their preference list with the school of their choice based on available seats. The directorate official stated that the deadlines for admission applications had been extended in response to parents' requests for an extension.

In the updated application, parents can once more choose schools based on available seats. Notably, 25% of places in all private schools are set aside for students who fall under the EWS and DG categories.
