DU Financial Support Scheme 2024: For students whose family income is less than Rs 8 lakh per year, the Delhi University Dean Students' Welfare Office has launched the DU Financial Support Scheme 2024 (FSS). The last date to register will be January 10, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates who want to apply for the financial scheme can apply online at dsw.du.ac.in.

The program provides fee waivers to full-time undergraduate/postgraduate students based on income brackets. Those with a family income up to Rs 4 lakh are eligible for up to 100 percent fee waivers, while candidates with a family income between Rs 4 and 8 lakh can receive up to 50 percent waivers. This waiver encloses all fees except examination and hostel fees.

Some programs, including BTech (Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering), and five-year integrated law programs (BA LLB/BBA LLB), are excluded from the eligibility criteria due to existing fee waivers granted during the admission process.

The required documents comprise Economically Backward Class/Other Backward Class-Non-Creamy Layer certificates, income tax returns, PAN cards, an undertaking, bonafide certificate, mark sheet, fee receipt, and bank passbook.
