According to the data, out of the schools, 2478 have attained a 100 per cent pass rate, with 397 being government schools.

The pass percentage for the Science stream is 96.35%.

In the TN HSE Exam 2024, the overall pass rate is 94.56 per cent. Among the students, 96.44 per cent of girls and 92.37 per cent of boys have successfully passed.

Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, the Education Minister of Tamil Nadu, will conduct a press conference to announce the TN Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) + Two results 2024.

Out of the 8,03,385 students who appeared for the class 12 board exam in 2023, a total of 7,55,451 students successfully cleared the exam.

The press conference to announce the class 12 results will take place at the Directorate of Public Instruction Campus. Students can check and download their results online by providing their roll number or any other required credentials.

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, administers the Tamil Nadu 12th Supplementary Examination for students who did not pass their regular Class 12 HSE (Higher Secondary Examination) 2024 or wish to enhance their grades. The schedule for the supplementary exams will be announced today along with the results.

To successfully pass the Tamil Nadu Class 12th exams, students must secure a minimum of 35 marks in each theory subject out of a total of 100 marks. For subjects that include practical components, students need to achieve at least 70 marks in theory, 20 marks in practicals, and 10 marks in internal assessment.

Students who achieve a score of 90 percent or higher in the HSC test will receive an A1 grade, while those scoring between 81 and 90 percent will receive an A2 grade. D grades will be assigned to students scoring between 35 and 40 percent. If a student's score falls below 35 percent, they will receive an E grade, signifying failure.

The TN 12th board exams for this year took place from March 1 to March 22, 2024, at multiple examination centers across the state. The exams began at 10:15 am and concluded at 1:15 pm.
