Delhi Teaching Job 2026: The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has officially launched its recruitment drive for 2026, offering a massive opportunity for teaching aspirants, graduates, and diploma holders. Released under Advertisement No. 03/2026, the notification outlines a total of 1,979 vacancies across various Delhi government departments, out of which 1,436 positions are specifically dedicated to core teaching roles.

To qualify for these competitive government positions, candidates must fulfill strict age limits and educational standards. For all core teaching posts, the maximum age limit is 30 years, while the non-teaching engineering post accepts applicants aged 18 to 27. Selection Process and Exam Pattern:

The selection matrix relies primarily on a 2-hour One-Tier Computer-Based Test (CBT). The exam contains 200 multiple-choice questions totaling 200 marks, evenly split into two parts:

Section A (100 Marks):  Tests general aptitude, covering General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Hindi Language, and English Language (20 marks each).

Section B (100 Marks): Focuses entirely on the candidate's chosen domain subject and teaching methodology.

Crucial Note on Grading: Minimum qualifying cut-offs are strictly enforced. General/EWS candidates must score at least 40 per cent, OBC (Delhi) candidates 35 per cent, and SC/ST/PwBD candidates 30 per cent. Notably, the minimum qualifying score applies directly to Section B and the overall combined tally; Section A does not feature a standalone minimum cut-off.

Step 1: Open your internet browser and navigate to the official portal at dsssb.delhi.gov.in.

Step 2: Look for the "Latest Advertisements" or "Recruitment" tab on the homepage.

Candidates applying for the DSSSB vacancies 2026 pay the application fees according to their respective categories. For the General, OBC, and EWS candidates, the application fees are Rs 100. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories  (SC / ST / PwD / Ex-Servicemen) are exempted from paying the application fees as per DSSSB rules.
