JE Education Desk: The Delhi University (DU) launched the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) admission portal 2023 for undergraduate (UG) programmes. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to apply for the DU programmes can submit their application form at– ugadmission.uod.ac.in.

According to the media reports, the last date to submit the application form will be August 31, 2023. In the initial round, candidates will have to fill out their application form and upload all their details and document to register with universities. 

"The University has now launched its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS(UG) -2023) document that elaborates on the procedures that will be adopted for admissions. Admission to all these programmes and colleges is based on the merit score obtained from the Common University Entrance Test CUET (UG)- 2023," the university said in the statement.

There are a total of 71,000 seats available in approximately 78 undergraduate courses for DU UG Admissions. Additionally, Delhi University is offering 198 combinations of the BA Programme across 68 colleges, resulting in a grand total of 1,553 course combinations for students to choose from.

In the undergraduate courses, the highest number of applications received for CUET 2023 was for the BCom Hons program. The DU UG 2023-24 academic session is scheduled to commence on August 16.

For candidates who want to apply for the DU PG postgraduate programmes the registration is likely to start by the last week of June tentatively. Candidates are advised to check the official website for the latest updates.

Step 1: Go to the official website– admission.uod.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the link UG Admissions Portal on the homepage
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen
Step 4: Now register and fill out the application form
Step 5: Pay the required fees
Step 6: Submit the application form
