DU Admission 2024: Delhi University To Begin 1st Semester UG Classes From August 29; Check Academic Calendar Here

DU Admission 2024: The University of Delhi (DU) has announced the schedule for Phase 2 of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) for undergraduate admissions for the 2024-25 academic year. Candidates who successfully completed Phase-I can now log in to their dashboard at ugadmission.uod.ac.in to select their preferred programs and college combinations, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

The first round of CSAS allocation and admissions will take place from August 16 to 21, 2024. Candidates will have from August 16 to 18, 2024, to accept their allocated seats. The last date for fee payment will be August 21, 2024.

The University of Delhi has also released the academic calendar for first-year undergraduate courses for the 2024-25 session. According to the schedule: Semester 1 classes will start on August 29, 2024. The mid-semester break is scheduled from October 27 to November 3, 2024. Classes will resume on November 4, 2024, following the mid-semester break. Dispersal of classes, preparation leave, and practical examinations will begin on December 24, 2024. Theory examinations are set to take place from January 6, 2025. Winter break will be observed from January 25, 2025.

Classes for the second semester will commence on January 27, 2025. The mid-semester break is scheduled for March 17, 2025. Following the break, classes will resume on March 17, 2025. Dispersal of classes, preparation leave, and practical examinations are set for May 25, 2025. Theory examinations will take place starting June 7, 2025. Summer vacation is planned from June 29 to July 20, 2025.
